How The Vision Came To Fruition
Dr. Daniel Fortino is a passionate Periodontist who takes great pride in his work. With many years of experience, Dr. Fortino was determined to focus on providing comprehensive treatments for all aspects of oral healthcare and looked for opportunities to provide those options to patients. This is how the vision and the goal came to fruition. We wanted to bring together specialists and focused dental care from various disciplines under one roof to work with your referring doctor to provide the most comprehensive and tailored care available. Dr. Fortino’s enthusiasm for providing exceptional oral healthcare has led to him founding a Dental Specialty Centre - making sure that no patient ever had to compromise when it came to their oral health.

DOC+ stands for Dedicated Oral Care Plus. We are committed to creating a team of focussed care dentists and dental specialists to provide patients with personalized and dedicated services. We want to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality of care possible in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
As the Georgian Bay and surrounding regions continue to expand, there is a growing need for a specialty centre that can cater to the area’s specific needs. Such a center would offer patients access to specialized and focused care services much closer to their homes. With this in mind, I am proud to introduce DOC+ (Dedicated Oral Care Plus), a Specialized and Focused Dental Centre dedicated to providing exceptional oral care services to the Georgian Bay and surrounding areas.

Over the past decade, he has had the opportunity to perform extensive oral surgery and periodontal treatments in both Ontario and the United States which has given him a well-rounded perspective in dentistry. This is how the vision and the goal came to fruition. By bringing together different specialities and focussed care dentists under one roof, this type of centre can foster more convenient collaboration and communication among patients, referring offices and dental care providers alike. This can lead to improved outcomes for patients and a better overall experience.

Our goal is to ensure our patients receive a comprehensive and comfortable experience every time they visit us. We strive to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust between ourselves, our patients, and referring doctors so you can rest assured that patients’ health will always be our top priority.
Our Policies.
At the DOC+, we are committed to providing quality care to our patients. We have established the following policies and procedures so that each patient may receive consistent expert service:
All appointments must be made in advance by phone or online booking system.
For all procedures, a deposit, a percentage of the total cost, is required prior to the scheduled appointment date in order to secure treatment. The remainder of the balance will be processed after the procedure. All deposits are non-refundable.
All patients must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their appointment time or the appointment will be cancelled and a new appointment must be scheduled.
We kindly request that all cancellations be done 48 hours prior, or a cancellation fee may apply.
If there is a “No Show” or the appointment is cancelled without proper and advanced notice, a fee of 10% of your services will apply. When a patient fails to cancel appropriately, it prevents other patients the opportunity to receive treatment sooner.
Payment is due at the time of service unless other financial arrangements have been made in advance with our office manager/billing specialist. Our staff will provide the patients
Your insurance policy is a private contract between you and your insurance company; we cannot be responsible if there is a change, decline or delay in your benefit. We will help you understand your insurance and provide you with the appropriate documents you may need.
For your safety, it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions or allergies that could affect your treatment plan or care during your visit.
