+ Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic x-rays are used in dentistry to provide an extra-wide view of the patient’s mouth, jaw and teeth. The patient stands upright with their head placed inside an open-ended cylinder. An X-ray machine then rotates around the patient’s head while taking images that show the entire arch of both upper and lower teeth on one single film, as well as any other structures within the jaw such as impacted teeth, fractures or tumors. This type of imaging provides a comprehensive look into the mouth that cannot be seen with standard radiographs, helping Specialists diagnose dental problems and plan treatments quickly and accurately.
